Purpose: The purpose of this document is to provide information on Dilemmas, how they’re used, and what benefits.
Just like in everyday life, players are faced with choices to make in the world of The Walking Dead: March to War. But these choices, referred to as Dilemmas, are decisions that characters will ask the player to make on their behalf.
These choices usually end up being matters of opinion or based on the player’s own moral compass, but they do not provide a significant impact on their gameplay experience going forward. No actions will be performed in response to a player’s choice, but they will receive a reward from which option they decide is best.
These rewards take the form of a combination of Food, Salvage, Lumber, Fuel, various consumable items, and Comic Covers. They are often randomly generated as a mixed bag, but, especially in the case of Comic Covers, they will appear based on the context of the choice that is made. For example, if a question is asking you to take sides on an issue between Carl and Gabriel, the covers you get will be based on which side you chose. If you chose Carl’s side, you will likely receive Carl covers (and vice versa).
